Have you ever
lost power to your sump pump?
-
Do you think
about what would happen if your sump pump failed?
-
How about that
furnace, hot water tank, or laundry room? What about the recreation
room, office, or storage area?
If you ever had a sump
pump failure, you already know about the mess and damage it can cause.
Just an inch or two of water can seriously damage carpets, drywall, and
other items. And even if it is covered by insurance, you will have to
deal with it all. The smell, cleanup, removal, contractors, deductibles,
and the insurance hassles.

approximately 750 Gallons per Hour at 10 foot of lift. This figure may
vary based upon your home's water supply, pressure, and any plumbing
restrictions that may be present in your system.
This is a fully automatic system that works when the water
in your sump pit is abnormally high..

FAQ's
Q. Is the listed pumping rate
including the municipal water needed to power it? In other words, when you say you pump
750 gallons per hour, do you really mean you pump out 375 gallons of ground water together with
375 gallons of municipal water?
A. Only the water that is removed from the sump pit itself counts. The added municipal water is not counted, is never introduced to the sump pit itself, and is only used to power the pump. This water is then ejected along with the ground water.
Q. How much water does the Basepump use when it is pumping and is the water always running?
A. Basepump uses about one gallon of municipal water to remove one gallon of sump water. Since this is an Emergency Backup Sump Pump, this water usage is pretty much irrelevant. The small cost of that water, (about 2.5 cents each minute it runs in most locales), compared to a basement ruined by flooding, is an easy tradeoff. The water ONLY runs when
Basepump is activated by a high water situation. Most of the time Basepump
is high and dry. Actually, this cost is very close to the cost of the electricity used to run your primary pump.
Q. How long will Basepump operate during a power failure?
A. Basepump will operate as long as your municipal water supply will run. Virtually, forever.
Our professional installers set the actual pumping time for each run at
the time of installation. This way, it will empty the sump pit as far down as needed and shut off. It will turn itself on and off automatically until the problem with the main pump is corrected.
